Get Started in 4 Easy Steps:
- Click the button below to download via our Google Drive link
- When the download is complete, unzip on the file
- Finally, double click to launch Gecko Connect
While Gecko Connect is open use Command+ Tab
to cycle between your desktop and other applications
MENU OVERVIEW
When you have downloaded and opened the software there are a few things that are handy to know, to help you easily navigate through the menus
ACCOUNT
To get set up, click the ACCOUNT menu, then select the REGISTER.
Once you have entered a few details, thats it! You're ready to get started
STORE
The STORE menu button will show you all of the individual and multi-purchase pricing options
CREATE
To Host your own meetings, click the CREATE menu
- Pick the environment that is right for your event. Then, when you're ready, press the CREATE button to select the scene
- Then, select your avatar and customise them, with over 20 million combinations to choose from!
When you are ready, press the
SELECT
button, and spawn into any one of the 20 immersive environments to Host your event
JOIN
To join a meeting you'll need the Room Code. This is found at the top of the Host's screen, this should be shared with anyone that is invited to join the meeting
Click the JOIN menu, sign-in or type in a nickname. Enter the room code then select the area of the world the Host is located, to get the best connection. When you are ready, press the JOIN button
Pick the age category and head-shape that you would like to use. Then, when you are finished styling your avatar, press the select button to launch into the meeting, where you can engage with everyone in immersive environments
